Ski Dubai

If you’d like to experience something you only thought possible in a snow resort, visit Ski Dubai, based at the Mall of The Emirates. Even if you’re not a fan of skiing, this is a must see attraction, with so many people simply taking the opportunity to watch skiers fly by, and children build snowmen. Ski Dubai has fully operational ski lifts along with 5 different runs, including the world’s first indoor black run. The longest run is over 400m and the highest point for experienced skiers is more than 60m up!

Dubai Zoo

Covering a total area of 1.75 hectares, the Dubai Zoo is located in Jumeirah. As the greenest spot in suburban Dubai, the zoo is home to various species of mammals, birds and reptiles. It even protects and conserves several endangered animals.

The Dubai Fountain

Set on the 30-acre Burj Dubai Lake, the fountain is 275 meters long and shoot water jets as high as 150 metres. Over 6,600 WET Super lights – the most advanced incandescent large fountain lights available today – and 25 colour projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1,000 abstract attractions. The beam of light shining upward from the fountain can be seen from over 20 miles away.

Dubai Aquarium

A major centrepiece in The Dubai Mall is one of the largest tanks in the world, the Dubai Aquarium. At 51m x 20m x 11m, it also features the world’s largest viewing panel at 32.8m wide and 8.3m high. Dubai Aquarium hosts more than 33,000 living animals, representing more than 85 species including over 400 sharks and rays. The Aquarium’s 270-degree acrylic walkthrough tunnel makes for incredible close-encounter experiences with some of the most fascinating underwater animals on the planet. A special ‘lunar-cyclic’ lighting system changes the ambience of the tank depending on the time of day.
